My head really was a bit of a mess during the course of The Long Bad Tuesday. I was dabbling with bits and pieces of chaos magic at the time and all sorts of odd fictional feedback and strange cognitive malfunctions beset me during the tale. Much to my relief, everything cleared up again once the story was over. Somehow, I blame Grant Morrison.

Week 6 – Tuesday
Spooky: We’re inside Nile, aren’t we?
Me: That’s right.
Spooky: And Nile’s… he was dying… and… and why am I only remembering this now?
Me: I let you forget. Just for a little bit.
Me: I thought you needed a bit of time to come to terms with your situ-
Spooky: Fix him!
Week 6 – Tuesday
Me: I beg your pardon?
Spooky: You’re the writer. So fix Nile. Cure him.
Me: Hmm… I could. I don’t know. I’m not sure that I should.
Spooky: What? Why!?
Me: Well, it’s all a bit dues ex, isn’t it? This is meant to be a journal comic, you know. Perhaps things need to be left to play their course.
Spooky: Journal comic?
Week 6 – Tuesday
Me: Originally I thought this would all be fun, you see. A bit of a romp. Let Nile’s abilities go out of control. See what happens.
Me: But… well. I didn’t quite account enough for the feedback.
Me: You think you’ve had a long day, Spooky?. It’s been months for me.
Me: And at times my mind has been a very confused place.
