26. The Long Bad Tuesday ~ 21

Poor Spooky – I imagine having panel borders cut their way into your brain is a rather unpleasant experience. Meanwhile I was getting off lightly this week – no backgrounds to worry about! Plunging inside the void of your metafictional alter-ego’s corrupted body does have some advantages.

Week 6: Tuesday

Spooky: Okay. Fine.
Spooky: What kind of price are we talking about?

Me: An equal trade.
Me: A little piece of him in exchange for a little piece of you.

Spooky: That’s all?
Spooky: That doesn’t sound so bad.

Week 6: Tuesday

Me: Think carefully.
Me: A little piece of Nile is not an easy thing to bear.

Me: Your life would be…
Me: …different.

Spooky: Do it.
Me: You’re sure?
Spooky: As sure as I need to be. Do it.

Week 6: Tuesday

Me: Brace yourself.
Spooky: This is going to hurt, isn’t it?

Spooky: hkk!

Me: Yes.
