You may have noticed that, as Sunday Ad Infinitum progresses, I increasingly have less of note to say about the series in these little snippets of director’s commentary. I think mostly that can be put down to the fact that the series by this point was really operating as one long, serialised narrative and so naturally there’s less to say about each little new snippet. You can safely blame the characters for this – the more fun Spooky and Ignatz became to write, the more that became the focus of the series over and beyond any formalist bells and whistles.

Ignatz: Sit-Cops? Here?
Spooky: I know. Doesn’t make much sense, does it?
Ignatz: It makes more sense than Ninjas.
Spooky: Point.
