There’s this other dream.
Where I have two eyes.
Where I can really see.
Just like everyone else.
And after I wake up… just for a moment, the dream stays with me.
Like my eyes are still there.
Like I could open them anytime I want.
But I just… I just don’t want to. Or don’t need to.
And even after the moment fades.
Even though I know I’m fooling myself.
I can’t help but smile.
