You know, it’s subtle, but I think it’s just possible that Rolan Abor doesn’t like Lemrin very much. I’m picking up what we might call a “vibe” in the early stages of their negations, and it is not one I would classify as either “warm” or “friendly.”
Transcripts
Lermin: Rolan Arbor.
Rolan: Ah! Does my reputation precede me?
Lermin: It does. Impressive work on the Heckleback conjuration.
Rolan: Compliments from a Wyrmrise graduate!
Rolan: The wonders simply refuse to cease.
Lermin: I’m here to discuss the future of one my students, Leerah Firestep.
Rolan: She’s my employee, not your student.
Rolan: And you’re here due to a baseless claim on a salvaged artefact recovered by two of my employees with no help from you.
Lermin: Perhaps just a little help.
Lermin: But it’s really Leerah’s role in all this I’d like to focus on.
Rolan: Leerah Firestep’s role is crystal clear.
Rolan: She was offered and accepted employment in the Gilded Delve.
Lermin: Yet her period of study at the University remains incomplete.
Rolan: An irrelevant detail.
Rolan: I dare say she’ll learn more in one month with the Delve than any number of years at Wyrmrise.
