Sure, some people will tell you that if you publish a weekly series then after 50 weeks you’ll have 50 episodes. Because, you know, that’s how time works. But those people are boring! Lermin: Believe me, I think a position here is a great opportunity for Leerah.
Lermin: But it shouldn’t have to come at the cost of completing her education.
Rolan: Cost? Hah!
Rolan: For a thing to have a cost, it must first have an agreed value.
Rolan: And you and I are far from any agreement on that.
Lermin: Rolan, you hide it well, but I do believe you harbour a certain hostility towards my University.
Rolan: Oh, don’t take it so personally – it’s not just your University.
Lermin: Ah. So it’s formal education in general that has your ire.
Lermin: Would you yourself be a self-taught practitioner of the magical arts by any chance?
Rolan: I would. And proudly so.
Lermin: Clearly you have much to be proud of.
Lermin: There are many different paths to knowledge.
Lermin: The value of your path is evident in the success it has brought you.
Lermin: But only a fool would discount the value of another’s path, simply because it differed from their own.
