A strip from back in the simpler days of the Bush regime, repping that sweet, sweet “War on Terror” nostalgia.

My notes reveal that this strip was “a 3am-insomnia of an idea that refused to let me not make it into a strip once it had occurred to me. My research (yes, I do research) revealed that Dimetrodons are not actually considered to be dinosaurs. But the hell with it, Dimetrodons are cool looking so they’re included.” Good sound reasoning there, past me.

A downside to re-reading my old notes and news posts from when Brainfist was originally published is the reminder that it used to be possible to go to exciting places like, you know, outside your house and meet other people at – I swear these were real – actual comic conventions. Anyway, those times are lost to us now. I hope all my fellow Brits are faring well as we begin Lockdown 3: Boris Is The Bandit.
