This final strip was written more than five years ago, long before it ever occurred to me to run 100 Planets as a weekly series here at E-merl. To this day it’s remained my one steady destination during two years of being quite wonderfully lost in the heavens. As our voyage reaches its final orbit, I’d like to say thanks to all of you for keeping me company during the trip and being there with a helpful nudge whenever my proofreading skills took a nosedive.
If I might be allowed to ask one last favour, I’d like to direct those of you with Android phones or pads towards my newest endeavour, A Duck Has An Adventure. More Duck details are available over here and also keep an eye on E-merl for word of the iOS version that I’ll hopefully have out later in the year.
Right, that’s everything from me. Thanks again for reading and be sure to buckle up tight for atmospheric re-entry. Rocketship E-merl, signing off.

Noooooo! We need more planets!
Goodbye, 100 Planets! It’s been real.
Surprising though it may be given the seeming content-light nature of this comic, I don’t think I’ve ever been more sad to see a thing end.
Although I do hate to see this end, this is a beautiful way to do it. Thank-you!
Can’t wait to check out the duck’s adventure! ๐
It was a grand voyage, thanks for the good times!
Thanks for all the hard work – I’ve thoroughly enjoyed following your journey. I’d love to see these in its entirety in a book one day.
I cant believe it’s over – planet 102 can only be just around the corner.
Huh. How strange to think that this series is over — even though #100 has been looming for a while now, it’s still a bit sad to see it go.
Thanks for the comics, and I’ll keep reading the site/plunging through your other work!
Thanks so much. ๐
Just read through all of these in a couple of hours, and I have to say I wish it didn’t end! Guess I’ll have to discover more planets on my own. Thanks for this, it was beautiful ๐
It has been a great trip. Thank you very much!
I started reading this back when there were less than 20 strips, but lost it quite a few years ago. Glad I could read it through to the end.
