This strip was originally published on the 28th June 2005 and was was inspired by an eyeless window dummy I saw in St Albans high street. It was actually the first strip I made for the series as a kind of a proof-of-concept for what I was trying to achieve with Brain Fist. Also, in case you missed it – a little news update about E-merl in general.

Sometimes I have this dream.
A dream where I have two eyes.
Just like everyone else.
But instead of letting me see out.
They let other people see in.
And I always wake up screaming.
