I think it’s pretty clear what side of the forgiveness/permission debate alien xenomorphs tend to fall on.

042. The Sequel
Because one remake is never enough.
The Planet Of Unnecessary Remakes 2
So Moon Two was a hit, right?
Solid gold box office smash!
Right! So I’m thinking sequel. And you know what that means?
Moon… 3D?
Right! And maybe also Casey Affleck as the Sea of Fertility.
I don’t know. 3D movies – they’re yesterday’s news.
What are you saying?
I’m saying we take this to the next level.
We build an actual, physical three-dimensional moon in orbit around the planet!
Forged from purest Hollywood! Able to reign down lunar death on all competing studios!
And With Brad Pitt fused into its centre as its living, breathing, marketable heart!
…
You don’t think we might be crossing a line into full-on, evil megalomania??
It’s what the audience wants!
041. Exclaimed
And now ex-planet, apparently.
040. Shiny Doodads
Not to be confused with The Planet Of Tomorrow, which is about 80% less porny.
039. Gigantic Proportion
Happy New Year everybody! May all your proportions in 2011 be gigantic ones!
038. God & Son & Son
It’s the hit new sitcom that’s sweeping the nation!
037. Naughtiness
036. The Remake
But Brad Dourif ends up stealing the show in his bit part as the Sea of Vapours.
035. Beastly
And speaking of scorpions, check out my new mini-comic, Missing Pieces to see Tiffany’s cousin take a star turn in a new story entitled The Scorpion And The Bad Parable. Also: I am now officially for hire. And that’s probably enough plugs for one strip, isn’t it?
Comics Consulting
Been doing some tidying up around E-merl today, including finally getting the new Consulting page up and running. It’s an area of my work I’ve wanted to draw a bit more attention to for a while now, so it’s good to finally have it out there. Anyone looking to engage my services as a Comics-Brain-For-Hire should hopefully now have a little more information to go on as to the kind of gigs I’ve tackled in the past.
Elsewhere on the site, I’ve also updated the Print Comics page so that you can all get your hands on my new mini-comic, Missing Pieces. The comic collects five of my harder to find short stories, plus a brand new tale entitled The Scorpion & The Bad Parable. Check out the full details here, then proceed directly to the relevant “Add To Cart” button to engage in acts of hearty consumption.
