Not the first time Honest Abe has made an appearance at E-merl – check out the Sixgun story “Strange New Past” for some hot Abraham chainsaw action. And of course real Lincoln completeists will be equally aware of his brief but striking cameo in The Last Sane Cowboy.

I’d just like to point out I in no way condone the cutting off and wearing of a cat’s head. I’m a vegetarian and vegetarians don’t eat cats. Or wear their heads or anything else fun like that.

If I get hate mail from Beatles’ fans for this strip, it’s because I deserve to.
