Alarmingly, some of my best friends are Scotsmen. Fortunately Douglas and Dave have both been mellowed by the softer climate of the south of England, so I need not fear too harsh a retaliatory beating.

Dave, you sir, are an idiot. no Scotsman says och aye, the noo. and yes it is spelt noo. not nou. what the hell is nou? that sounds too much like Now which is what its meant to be a Scots rendition of. this is utter bollocks, but slightly funny in that typical stereotype way that English people think is funny.
